So I don't if its gonna be fully compatible. Has anybody tried to remove their VE PRO bundle from MAS folder?Īnyhow I haven't work on a "big session template" today. Both works with VST folder on it! Aparently on my system the only problem is the VE PRO MAS bundle. I tried to switch between DP 9.51 & 9.13. The weird thing is it even works with DP 9.13! (I'm running 9.13 this whole day & installing Altiverb, Waves etc). At some point I forgot to rename my VST folders to VST_TEMP & it still works (if you install new plugins, some plugins will automtically create new VST folder on you plugins folder. I managed to get it work just by removing those bundles. I dont know about the VST folder folder thing. I managed to get DP & VE PRO running on High Sierra without having MAS on VE PRO (I can live with that as long as I get my DP AU & VE PRO working together) I finally managed to get it work! So apparently the cause of the problem is Vienna Ensemble Pro.bundle & Vienna Ensemble Pro Audio Input.bundle located in : system - library - audio - plugins - MAS. MOTU loses in this situation because there is no other option for VEP/MIR while there are a lot of DAWs and they aren't nearly as expensive as samples If there are a few of us here on the boards there are a lot more out there scrambling and that doesn't make anybody look good. I wish VSL was a little more proactive here supplying some solutions or at least sympathy. We are 4 months down the road from the first post on this board about this issue so I am not optimistic about the next few months. It wasn't sounding like a solution was imminent. Switching DAWs is more of a pain to me than using VEP 5 and it should be seemless to switch once they figure this mess out. It may not be as functional and pretty but it will work until they get around to finding a fix for VEP 6. Probably take me a day or two to load the instruments and route everything but at least I will have the "sound" I want. Switching back to VEP 5 kills me because I had just rebuilt my template using VEP 6. VEP 5 will work if you uncheck the MAS VST button in preferences. VEP 6 doesn't work and there is no work around. I have been on with DP support and going back and forth trying to find a solution. Your Audio Unit UAD plug-ins will now be available in Digital Performer. Empty the trash.Ĥ.) Download the DP 9.51 installer available at /downloads and run the installer.ĥ.) Find the VST folder (System HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/) and rename the folder to anything other than “VST” (for example, “VST_temp”). Find the folder and drag it to the trash. If you have multiple versions of DP, be sure to drag all versions to the trash.ģ.) Hold the Option Key while clicking on the Finder's "GO" drop-down menu, select Library, then open the Preferences folder. If this is the first time running the UAD installer, make sure to enable the UAD driver in System Preferences, Security & Privacy.Ģ.) Open the Applications folder and drag the Digital Performer application to the trash. This fixed Both UAD issues AND VEPRO.ĭigital Performer and Universal Audio Workaround fix for UAD plug-ins on macOS High Sierraġ.) Run the UAD 9.4 installer. Well i just joined the club.Same error message as was posted earlier.
